English Proficiency
If your first language is not English, then you must demonstrate a level of English proficiency necessary to complete your degree by taking one of the approved proficiency exams or qualifying in another approved way
Approved English Language Tests
International applicants may demonstrate proficiency in English by submitting one of the following approved tests:

Submitting Your Test Scores
Test scores are valid for two years from the date the test was originally taken; older scores will not be accepted. Copies of documents may be submitted for initial review, but official scores must be sent directly to the BAC from the test provider.
Other Ways to Demonstrate English Proficiency
The BAC may accept one of the following situations as proof of the English proficiency requirement:
- Minimum three years' attendance at an English-speaking secondary school or minimum two years' attendance at a college or university (excluding continuing education)

- Completion of Level 5 (accepted for undergraduate and graduate students)
- Completion of Level 112 intensive program (accepted for undergraduate and graduate students)
- Completion of A1 level in their university pathway program (accepted for undergraduate and graduate students)
- Completion of the intensive English program (level 7 for undergraduate and level 8 for graduate students)
- Completion of the university pathway program or completion of level 4 of the GO: Prepared program (accepted for undergraduate and graduate students)
- Completion of level 7 (accepted for undergraduate and graduate students)
- Completion of Advance level (level 5) (accepted for undergraduate and graduate students)
- Completion of B2+ level, also known as B2 Upper Intermediate (accepted for undergraduate and graduate students)
- Completion of B2+ (Pre-Advanced) level (accepted for undergraduate and graduate students)
Please note: BAC Admissions Committee reserves the right to request proof of English language proficiency from any applicant, regardless of citizenship or first language, at any time during the evaluation process.
